Christian Simmons is a writer for ConsumerNotice.org who has worked in journalism since 2016. He has covered in-depth health and retirement topics ranging from Medicare to finance.

His work has appeared in the Dallas Morning News, Baltimore Sun, Orlando Sentinel and South Florida Sun Sentinel, among other publications.

Christian, who has spent time in radio and television with Orlando CBS affiliate WKMG and NPR affiliate WMFE-FM, has authored deep dives on important topics such as how private Medicare plans are affecting American health care and the mental health impacts of retirement on seniors.

He graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Central Florida Burnett Honors College before returning to UCF to earn his master’s in integrated business.
