Travis Rodgers

Travis Rodgers is an Emmy-nominated journalist who has more than 20 years of experience in television news broadcasting. Prior to joining ConsumerNotice.org, he worked as a video editor, reporter, web editor and producer for multiple TV affiliates across the Southeast United States.
Travis received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from East Tennessee State University. He has been writing news, producing live shows and live breaking news for many years. He was nominated for an Emmy while covering live breaking news when a shooter shut down the Orlando International Airport in May 2017. Travis was part of the team that broke the news at the ABC affiliate in Orlando during the Pulse nightclub mass shooting in June 2016.
He was also manager of production for the public, educational and governmental television channel for the city of Bristol, Tennessee. He was responsible for creating programming and news content that served the public and helped strengthen community relationships with local government.
