For over 20 years, Ann Brown has been representing families devastated by injury or death caused by the fault of another as well as women who have been harassed or discriminated against in the workplace in both state and federal courts. Brown is the founding partner of Ann Brown Legal, PC, a law firm located in Iowa that specializes in personal injury and employment discrimination claims.

Brown has acted as class counsel in numerous class actions ranging from failure to pay wages owed to unfair banking practices and is the author of the Iowa chapter in the American Bar Associations Guide to Class Actions. She has obtained jury verdicts and handled appeals in groundbreaking cases that have shaped the legal rights of students to be safe at school and the rights of women to be paid equally for performing equal work.

Brown has a passion for helping those injured or treated unfairly by others, particularly women and children, and is driven to hold wrongdoers accountable as a way of making positive change in the world. In addition to her law practice, she volunteers her time helping and advocating on behalf of victims of domestic abuse and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
